Everett Boyd Lewis

Everett Boyd Lewis, 37, of Hurricane passed away Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007, following injuries received in a motorcycle accident.

He was employed by Contracting Enterprise Inc. and was a member of VFW Post 9097 Men's Auxiliary.

Surviving: daughter, Madeline Nicole of Ona; father and mother, Raymond and Shirley Lewis of Hurricane; brother, Gary Lewis of Hurricane; sisters, Phyllis Deem of Syracuse, Ohio, and Heather Lewis of Hurricane; grandmother, Adalene Amory of Scott Depot; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, at Allen Funeral Home, 2837 Main St., Hurricane, with the Rev. Mark Hesson officiating. Burial was held in the Pullen & Lewis Cemetery on Clymer's Creek.

 

 

The Family of Everett B. Lewis wish to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Post #9097 members, Ladies Auxiliary and Men's Auxiliary for the expressions of sympathy and prayers during an extremely difficult time.  We also wish to thank the members of the Post and Men's Auxiliary for service as pallbearers during the funeral.  Pallbearers during the service were:  Commander Bill Lambert, Jr. Vice Commander Ed Jividen, Trustee Jim Totten,  Men's Auxiliary President Richard Sigman, Auxiliary Sr. Vice President Red Hughes, and Men's Auxiliary members Dave Wheeler and John Allan Gallaspie.
