VFW POST #9097 INSTALLS NEW OFFICERS FOR POST, MEN'S AUXILIARY AND LADIES AUXILIARY

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - May19, 2008
 

Hurricane, WV – VFW Post # 9097   Sunday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. was the date for installation of officers for Post # 9097 for the 2008 year.  In the photo below (left) Past State Commander and former Post 9097 Commander Don Kinnard prepares to install the new officers.

In the second photo, The 2008 officers, including Post Commander Bill Lambert, Sr. Vice Commander Raymond Lewis, Jr. Vice Commander Harold 'Butch ' Chipps, Quartermaster Ed. Jividen, Surgeon Sam Holdbrook, Chaplain Joe Norris, and Trustees, Jim Caruthers, Jr., Dickie Roberts and Mary Eades are sworn in.

 In the next photo, Post #9097 Men's Auxiliary members are sworn in.  Men's Auxiliary officers for 2008 are:  President Rogert Coffee, Sr. Vice President, Robert L. Jones, Jr. Vice President, David Wheeler, Secretary/Treasurer Richard Sigman, Chaplain, Thomas E. Byrd, Guard, John Allen Gallaspie, and Trustees, Brett E. Gillfilen and Harrison Dillon.  A one year trustee has not been selected.

In the final photo, the Post # 9097 Ladies Auxiliary officers are sworn in by Nancy Miller.  The 2008 Ladies Auxiliary officers are:  President, Shirley Lewis, Sr. Vice President, Ina Boggess, Jr. Vice President, Ledith Salmons, Treasurer, Amber Mobley, Chaplain, Caroline Haug, Conductress, Pat Sizemore, Guard, Brenda Adkins, and Trustees, Ina Bogges, Frances Smithson, and Pat Sizemore.
